Biography

Kristin A. Welton believes that the world provides everyone with beautiful, exhilarating, emotional, and compelling opportunities that need to be shared. She also has interests in nature, people, culture, and creative arts. As a way to combine her believes with her interests: Kristin began studying at Lansing Community College to become a Digital Media Specialist, so she could use her creativity to share the wonders of the world with her audience.
While studying at Lansing Community College, Kristin made it on the President's List every trimester since starting at LCC in 2015. During her education, one of her Cinematography professors nominated her for The Michigan Association of Broadcasters Foundation Scholarship, which she received in 2016. Furthermore, Kristin became a recipient of the Lansing Community College Arts and Sciences Scholarship in 2016 and 2017.
Due to her exceptional work ethic and desire to learn, she became trained in multiple software programs for editing videos and photos, such as Avid, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Photoshop. She further developed a keen understanding and eye for capturing creative and visually alluring videos and photos. Her interests in the arts and cultures also influenced her to take multiple classes in the performing arts, fine arts, and the Japanese language.
In March of 2020, Kristin graduated from Lansing Community College with an
Associate of Applied Science degree as a Digital Media Specialist. She also maintained a 4.0 GPA and graduated with Summa Cum Laude. Although she is currently working a full-time job at a local sign shop, she hopes to one day work in the field she trained so hard for and bring entertainment to others.
